Stone Bridge HS - Ashburn
From Centreville/Fairfax:
- Get yourself to Route 28 northbound.
- Continue on Route 28 approximately 9 miles.
- Take the left-hand exit for the Dulles
Greenway (Route 267), toward Leesburg.
NOTE: Greenway is a TOLL ROAD — bring some $$$$ - Continue on Greenway approximately 7 miles.
- Take Exit 4 and turn right to Belmont Ridge Rd (Route 659), northbound.
- Continue past Ashburn Farm Parkway.
- Turn right (eastbound) onto Hay Rd.
- Look for Stone Bridge HS (might be on your left).
Approximate distance: 21 miles
Travel time: minimum of 25 minutes
Alternate Route (avoiding toll $$):
- Get yourself to Route 28 northbound.
- Turn left, at traffic light, onto Waxpool
Rd (Route 625).
NOTE: if you pass CarMax on your left, you’ve gone too far. - Continue on Waxpool, which changes it’s name to Farmwell Rd.
- Continue on Farmwell, which changes it’s name into Ashburn Farm Parkway.
- Turn right onto Claiborne Parkway.
- Travel approximately 7-tenths of a mile.
- Turn left onto Hay Rd.
- Look for Stone Bridge HS (might be on your right).
The distance may be about the same as the primary directions, but you will encounter many more traffic lights and potential congestion.
